The Border Industrial Association is a nonprofit that advocates for development and investment in Santa Teresa. The organization represents the industrial base of Santa Teresa and works with state and local officials to solve issues facing industry and to help make Santa Teresa more attractive to private investment.

Camino Real Regional Utility Authority

Board Member and Chairman – 2011 to Present Day

Board member since 2011, board chairman 2012 – 2018. The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority is a joint utility of Dona Ana County and The City of Sunland Park which has authority over water and wastewater operations and is the planning, zoning, and subdividing authority for the region.

The New Mexico Partnership (on contract through GPI, Inc.)

Research Specialist – 2006 to Present Day

GPI is a contractor for the NM Partnership with the task of recruiting industry to NM focusing on Santa Teresa.

The International Business Accelerator

Research Specialist – 2003 to Present Day

The IBA is a program of the NM Small Business Development Center Network. The IBA is NM’s international trade expert and assists NM businesses with their international trade needs. The IBA also provides expert testimony to the Governor and Legislature on international trade.

The Santa Teresa Charitable Foundation

Founder and Vice President – 2001 to Present Day

Beginning in 2000 as an annual charity golf tournament benefiting the Gadsden Independent School District and formally organizing as the Santa Teresa Charitable Foundation in 2015. The STCF develops educational programs which help keep students in school as well as prepare them for life after graduation.
